You may use this packet if the following are true:
Only YOU will need to appear at the hearing.
- You have CHILDREN under the age of 18 born of the marriage, or the wife is pregnant.
- You may be seeking alimony.
- You may or may not have marital assets or debts.
- You both are in total agreement regarding the division of your assets and liabilities.
- Your spouse does not wish to, or cannot attend the final hearing (but can still attend if they want to).

PACKET #C-9: Personal Service (the other party will be served with papers)
You may use this packet if the following are true:
- You have CHILDREN under the age of 18 born of the marriage, or the wife is pregnant.
- You may be seeking alimony.
- You may or may not have marital assets or debts.
- You are not sure if your spouse is going to agree to your Petition, or if he/she will complete, have notarized, and return the completed forms to you.
- You have an exact address where your spouse lives, or works.

PACKET #C-10: Service by Publication (you cannot locate the other party)
You may use this packet if the following are true:
- You have CHILDREN under the age of 18 born of the marriage, or the wife is pregnant.
- You may be seeking alimony.
- You may or may not have marital assets or debts.
- You have not been able to locate your spouse.
